Tonya Edwards love for the game began in the backyards and playgrounds of Flint Michigan. Where she became a four-time selection to the Class A All-State high school team and Parade All-American, while leading Flint Northwestern to consecutive Class A State Championship titles and Runner Up.
Her discipline and dedication landed her a scholarship to the University of Tennessee where she accumulated 2 National Championship titles in 3 Final Four appearances and walked away with a Final Four MVP award, as a freshman.
After college she returned home to coach her high School alma mater Flint Northwestern where she accomplished another state championship as a coach.
After her brief stint on the sideline, Tonya’s basketball journey extended far beyond the borders of the United States. She ventured internationally, playing professionally in Turkey, Italy and Israel, showcasing her skills on the global stage. Her dedication to the game reached new heights in 1996 when she joined the Columbus Quest in the American Basketball League (ABL), where she achieved the pinnacle of success, winning 2 World Championship titles and earning ABL All-Star status.
During her third season with the Quest, she was named player -coach, before the ABL folded. Once the league ended, the WNBA welcomed her as the seventh overall pick in the first round of the draft by the Minnesota Lynx. This marked the beginning of an illustrious WNBA career, where she donned the jerseys of the Minnesota Lynx, becoming their first WNBA All-Star in franchise history, Phoenix Mercury, and Charlotte Sting. Her prowess and resilience on the court were evident, as she consistently dazzled fans with her remarkable talent once again.
Since her retirement, she returned to the sidelines as an assistant coach to accumulate two additional WNBA World Titles with the Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky.
Tonya has been inducted into various Hall of Fames which includes the University of Tennessee Lady Vols, Greater Flint Afro-American and Greater Flint Area Sports.

Raised in Toronto, Canada, Cleo Foster uses her passion for the game and wealth of experience to help develop well rounded student athletes. As a former division 1 point guard for the University of Massachusetts Minutemen, Coach Cleo has assisted in the development of numerous athletes throughout the course of her career.
Her unwavering desire to lead the next generation of talent inside and outside the lines started at the division 1 level. With 13 seasons at the division 1 level and 7 years coaching at the high school level she has been committed to serving those with aspirations to play at the next level. Currently, she is coaching a nationally ranked basketball program in the state of Georgia and loves to conduct personal training sessions in Atlanta where she resides.
A native of Flint, Michigan, Larecha Jones attended Flint Northwestern High School where she led the team in scoring and rebounding for three years. She was selected for the All State Team for three years, and was named as The Saginaw Valley Most Valuable Player during her junior and senior years. She also, led her team to the state finals twice, winning the State Title as a junior with an undefeated season of 28-0. She was named as a Streets and Smith Honorable Mention All-American. During the four years of playing in high she scored over 2000 points and grabbed over 1500 rebounds.
Upon graduating from high school she accepted a basketball scholarship to attend The Ohio State University. During the four seasons at The Ohio State University she was a dominating force in the Big Ten. She led the buckeyes in scoring as a sophomore and led The Big Ten All-Star team in scoring as they traveled throughout Europe. As a junior she averaged 18 points per game, and was selected to the All Big Ten Team during her sophomore, junior and senior years. During her collegiate years at The Ohio State University she accumulated over 1400 points in three years as a starter and made two NCAA Tournament Appearances.
After college she continued her career as a professional athlete with the WNBA’s, Orlando Miracle, Charlotte Sting and Houston Comets. She was the head Girls basketball coach at South High for three years where she changed the program around and had the young ladies competing at high levels. She is currently coaching basketball and track at Sherwood Middle School where for the past few years she has had winning seasons in both sports.
